'Every Pant has a Story' CONTEST

SCRATCH fashion team is having our first ever CONTEST!

Handmade pants are quite underrepresented in the Clothing category. There just aren't that many of them. Why should shirts, skirts, and dresses get all the Etsy fun? Well, that's what we were wondering, so we're going to have a good old (or new) fashioned sewing contest!




**************'Every pant has a story' CONTEST!**************

1. Make a pair of pants from scratch (from whatever materials you wish).
2. Photodocument the making of said pants. Include pictures and a story from start to finish.
3. List on Etsy (and include or link to photos and story), include the tag 'pantscontest'
4. WIN FABULOUS PRIZES!

Entries will be judged on: creativity, design, and story, and there will be prizes for each of those categories.
Even if you don't know how to sew and make a pair of stapled tablecloth pants, there is a prize for BEST STORY! So give it a shot!

ANYONE can enter. But you must make the pants from scratch, which means you cut and sew all the pieces and seams yourself and of course you will be documenting that fact in photo/word story form. We will have a Flickr pool for the entries.

The Deadline for entries is Monday October 1, 2007.
